My husband Tom Peterson and I purchased the agency from its original owner, my father-in-law Robert Peterson, who founded the agency in 1968. I spent 15 years working in the executive administrative field before coming to Twin City Underwriters. Initially I came in to streamline processes, organize files and modernize office equipment. When we bought the agency in 1996, I spent several years running the company with the sale producers who had originally been with TCU under Robert.
In 2004 I went to work for Best Buy Corporate Headquarters where I supported senior management during this time Tom took over managing and growing TCU. In 2014 I came back to Twin City Underwriters as CFO and Brand Manager. Tom and I are proud of the growth of Twin City Underwriters with over 20 employees and 3 office locations.
When I am not working I enjoy quilting, traveling, spending time with family and friends.
